Disclosing your partnership, and using our brand

You must label posts that carry your link or code as advertising — this is required by ASCI guidelines in India, not just by us. You may use our published product images; ask before using the logo.

Disclosure is required, and it is not our rule

India’s Advertising Standards Council guidelines for influencer advertising require a disclosure label on any post where you have a material connection to the brand — and earning commission is a material connection. This applies whether or not you were paid up front, and whether or not you say anything positive. It is the advertiser’s and the creator’s responsibility jointly, so it protects you as much as us.

How to disclose properly

The label must be upfront and hard to miss: in the first two lines of a caption, not buried at the end of a hashtag block, and readable without tapping “more”. On video it should be visible on screen, not only spoken, and on a story it should stay up long enough to read. Use a plain word — “ad”, “advertisement”, “sponsored”, “paid partnership” or “affiliate”. Vague tags like “collab”, “sp” or “thanks to” do not satisfy the guidelines. Where the platform provides a built-in paid-partnership tool, use it as well as the written label, not instead of it.

Using our product images

You may use the product photographs published on our website and product pages to promote those products. Do not edit them in ways that change what the product is — do not alter the label, the claims printed on it, or the size shown.

Using our logo

Ask us first. The line that matters is between promoting us and appearing to speak for us: our logo on your own content can read as an official brand account or an endorsement of you by us, which is a different claim from “I use and recommend this”. We are usually happy to say yes to a specific use — we would just rather see it.

Promoting other brands

The partner terms contain no exclusivity clause, so working with other brands is not a breach. Do not, however, present yourself as speaking for MuscleSpark while doing it, and do not use our product images in content promoting a competitor.

Media kit

There is no downloadable media kit. Product photographs on the site are the assets available today. If you need something specific — a particular angle, a transparent background, a higher resolution — ask and we will send it if we have it.

Common questions

Do I have to disclose that I earn a commission?

Yes, on any post carrying your link or code. Earning commission is a material connection, which triggers the disclosure requirement under ASCI guidelines whether or not you were paid in advance, and whether or not the post is positive.

Do I really have to label every post as an ad?

Every post that carries your link or code, yes. A post that simply mentions a product you bought yourself, with no link and no code, is not advertising.

Is #ad in the hashtags at the bottom enough?

No. The label has to be prominent — in the first couple of lines, visible without expanding the caption. Buried in a hashtag block is exactly the placement the guidelines call out.

What about stories and reels?

The disclosure must be visible on screen, and long enough to actually read. Saying it aloud without showing it is not sufficient on its own.

Can I use your logo in my video?

Ask first. Showing the product with its label on the packaging is fine; placing our logo as a badge on your own content can imply you are speaking for the brand.

Can I promote a competing supplement brand as well?

Yes. There is no exclusivity clause. Do not use our images in that content or imply you represent us.

Do you have a media kit or brand assets pack?

Not currently. Use the product photographs from the website, and ask us if you need something specific.
